A Day in the Life
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for solving complex challenges and driving impactful results We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial this position you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of responsibilities from preparing and consolidating financial statements to leveraging cutting-edge data analytics tools like Power BI to optimize reporting processes. Join us and be part of a team that values innovation collaboration and professional growth!This role will cover multiple key financial processes including Statutory and Corporate Income Tax reporting and Audit coordination and is a hybrid role located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall in the canton of Schaffhausen.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive internal and external financial reports.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements including balance sheets income statements and accompanying financial notes.
- Leverage data analytics tools to automate workflows optimize reporting processes and deliver actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions that enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate or contribute to complex accounting projects and initiatives across various functions.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- A bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field with 58 years of relevant experience in financial accounting reporting or audits.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards (e.g. US GAAP Swiss GAAP)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI etc.
- Proven ability to prepare and consolidate financial statements perform financial analysis and support audits and tax compliance.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
