The Axpo Cloud Enablement team is pivotal in driving our digital transformation. Based in Rathausen we design build and operate cloud and infrastructure services that are essential for our colleagues and customers. We seek a System Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems to support our mission.
What you will do:
- Take ownership of Windows-based infrastructure and services both on-prem and in the cloud.
- Design and implement virtual machine-based systems that support the migration and transformation of legacy workloads to the cloud.
- Support and maintain our central cloud infrastructure ensuring reliability performance and operational excellence across environments.
- Apply automation practices to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
What you bring & who you are:
- Strong Windows system engineering background including AD DNS Group Policy and related services.
- Solid understanding of networking identity and security in hybrid environments.
- Extensive experience in managing business applications hosted on Microsoft Windows infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Azure particularly in migrating securing and managing Windows workloads in the cloud.
- Experience with NetApp File Services is a big plus.
- Ability to advise and support teams on their cloud journey with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
