Job Description
Are you ready to shape the future of banking technology Join Avaloqs new and dynamic innovation team where were building the next generation of cloud-native modular banking solutions. Our mission is to rethink traditional banking architectures to deliver scalable cost-efficient and flexible SaaS platforms.
Youll work alongside experienced passionate engineers and domain experts all focused on delivering real innovation in coreless banking. Our solutions are cloud-first with a strong emphasis on modern DevOps performance and modular design.
Your key tasks
- Turn banking needs into scalable tech: Analyze business requirements and architect modular backend solutions.
- Build cloud-native services: Develop test and deploy backend components for cloud-centric banking applications.
- Drive performance and quality: Apply best practices in code quality testing and CI/CD to ensure high availability and maintainability.
- Shape engineering culture: Promote DevOps principles participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate across domains: Work closely with product frontend and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end value.
Qualifications :
- Deep banking domain knowledge with expertise in at least one key area (e.g. investment performance booking engines taxation trading or corporate actions).
- Proven backend engineering experience ideally in a high-stakes regulated environment.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and related backend technologies.
- Hands-on cloud experience including infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.
- Experience with microservices event-driven architectures and API-first development.
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Experience with modular banking platforms or coreless architectures.
- Passion for building high-performing SaaS platforms.
- Contributions to open-source or technical communities
