Position Overview
The Senior Director Marketing International is responsible for setting the vision and leading the marketing strategy for Oncotype Dx within the International Business Unit of Exact Sciences (all countries outside of the US). This role is a member of the International Leadership Team and leading the International Marketing team responsible for executing marketing strategy. The role is reporting into the Chief Growth Officer. The International Marketing team is responsible for defining the positioning segmentation and messaging of Oncotype Dx and establishing an omnichannel marketing approach for promotion to include sales force tactics non-person promotion opportunities and initiatives utilizing the digital ecosystem.
This role will lead the marketing team in identifying thought leaders and establishing productive partnerships to advance molecular diagnostic testing to aide in selecting the most appropriate treatment options across multiple cancer addition this role is responsible for ensuring strategic alignment and integration cross-functionally with stakeholders including Commercial Excellence Medical Affairs Market Access Customer Service Operational Effectiveness Sales Operation IT and Product Lifecycle Management. The Sr. Dr. Marketing International will lead the Market research Plan and progress of marketing initiatives against performance goals. The successful candidate will also develop an effective and engaged team provide opportunities for professional development and foster an environment for open communication. Success in this position will require strategic mindset attention to detail and the ability to carry out multiple tasks in candidates will possess relevant experience in oncology and brand marketing with a demonstrated ability to master complex scientific material and convey these concepts in a compelling understandable manner. Given the extensive contact the Marketing Department has with multiple internal and external parties strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are Sr. Dr. Marketing International should enjoy and flourish working in an ever-changing environment and be able to maintain composure and poise in sometimes hectic situations.
Essential Duties
include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and develop strategy behind and execution of personal and non-personal selling materials and other promotional efforts to support the portfolio.
- Lead teams to ensure appropriate development of HCP materials in accordance with legal regulatory and medical policies.
- Establish clear department goals and align product marketing teams to execute key business objectives through their promotional efforts of each Oncotype product as a standalone product offering as well as part of the entire portfolio.
- Develop and execute key elements of the three-year Oncotype commercial strategic plans.
- Analyze and measure primary and secondary market research and track performance of key tactics through commercial analytics.
- Effectively work with internal cross-functional teams external agency partners and project teams to achieve excellence.
- Work closely with sales to ensure field execution aligns with brand strategies to drive Oncotype revenue.
- Ensure strategic alignment and integration with cross-functional teams including both Medical Affairs and Customer Experience.
- Consistent demonstration of exceptional leadership qualities including but not limited to the ability to attract and retain the best team foster a culture of high performance lead with integrity humility accountability and courage and set a clear vision to energize teams towards the future.

Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in marketing Business Administration or related field.
- 10 years of experience working in marketing or brand management.
- 10 years of direct leadership experience; including hiring coaching and developing talent.
- 10 years of oncology market experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office expertise and presentation development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Computer skills: MS Office (PowerPoint Word Excel spreadsheets) expertise databases familiarity and use of Internet/World Wide Web presentation development skills
- Fluent in English knowledge of German and/or other European languages is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with breast cancer or lung cancer key opinion leaders in the United States.
- Precision Oncology experience is a plus with strong preference for candidates who have international experience.

Working Conditions/ Schedule
- The place of work is the office in Zug.
- It is required to work across global time zones with global teams.
- This position will require travel of up to 50% of working time away from work location. It may include overnight/weekend travel.
