The opportunity

Hitachi Energy High Voltage Products is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. As a Local Product Group of High Voltage Products the High Current Systems unit is responsible for the development sales manufacturing and service of generator circuit-breaker systems.

How youll make an impact

  • Forming and leading of cross-functional project teams

  • Collaborating in global R&D Programs

  • Managing of project requirements and risks

  • Planning and coordination of the project related tasks

  • Forecasting and coordinating of project related resources

  • Communication and synchronization with stakeholders

  • Forecasting and monitoring of project cost and financials

  • Aligning the project team to reach the common targets

  • Ensuring on time and on quality delivery of the project

  • Continuous improvement activities in project execution

Your background

  • Masters or doctoral degree in engineering or a closely related subject from a Polytechnical/Technical University

  • Solid background in leadership and/or project management

  • Previous working experience in R&D environment is a plus

  • High expectations on quality of work in all regards

  • Independent proactive and goal-oriented personality

  • Self-oriented committed willing to learn

  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken

  • Structured way of working

  • Experience or knowhow in agile project execution is a plus
