Job Description

Master Data Analyst

Hours: Fulltime

Location: Baar Switzerland

THE POSITION

We are seeking a Master Data Analyst to join our VARO team at the corporate level. This role will be responsible for maintaining analyzing and optimizing master data across our group of companies with a primary focus on JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy consistency and integrity of master data supporting business processes.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Master Data Management: Setup and maintain master data related to Products Terminals Locations Ship Codes Customers Suppliers Chart of Accounts Business Units Calendars and other critical data in JD Edwards.

  • Data Integrity & Accuracy: Ensure master data compliance with company policies and standards implementing audit checks to maintain highquality data.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data inconsistencies and anomalies to provide insights for process improvements.

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial Finance Supply Chain IT and other departments to align master data strategies with business needs.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for data governance automation and process efficiencies within JDE.

  • User Support & Training: Provide support training and documentation to endusers to ensure correct usage of master data elements.

  • Data Migration & Projects: Participate in system upgrades data migrations and ERP integration projects to ensure seamless transitions and adherence to data governance principles.

  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that master data adheres to internal controls industry regulations and data security policies.

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Business Administration Information Systems or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in master data management preferably in a multientity/grouplevel organization.

  • ERP Expertise: Handson experience with JD Edwards (JDE) is preferred; familiarity with other ERP systems is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools is an advantage.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for data accuracy and integrity.

  • ProblemSolving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot data issues and recommend solutions proactively.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders across different functions and levels in the organization.

  • ProcessOriented Mindset: Experience in establishing and improving master data governance frameworks.
