Medical Imaging & Test Software Engineer

At Positrigo we are driven by our vision of imaging everyonehaving developed a very compact and costeffective brain PET system to revolutionize nuclear medical imaging. Our mission is to make advanced diagnostics widely accessible enabling earlier and more accurate detection of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimers.
With our pioneering product NeuroLF now on the market we are entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Medical Imaging & Test Software Engineer to join our experienced R&D team.
Your Role
As Medical Imaging & Test Software Engineer you will work on software development and testing of data processing image reconstruction and data analysis algorithms. You will improve software performance add new software features help collect test data and create component and system tests for our nuclear medical imaging devices.
Responsibilities
- Work on our image reconstruction and data processing algorithms
- Collaborate in improving the test infrastructure and its performance
- Implement and test production level code in C
- Prototype and develop new features in Python
- Collaborate on data collection and set up and maintain a data storage and analysis framework
- Structure your work in accordance with medical device regulations (requirements planning documentation)
- Collaborate with and contribute to open source software community
Your Profile
- Master degree or higher in a technical discipline such as Engineering Mathematics or Computer Science
- Strong analytical skills and methodical approach
- Very experienced in C; Python is a plus
- Experience with software algorithms and data analysis
- Experience with Gitlab pipelines and testing framework is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux cmake Docker is a plus
- Fluent in English
