Job Description
Job Title: Finance Officer
Salary: 150k
Location: Itako Abuja
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records ledgers and reports.
2. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
4. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of financial performance.
5. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
6. Ensure compliance with internal controls financial policies and relevant regulations.
7. Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
8. Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow management.
9. Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a finance or accounting role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage).
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good understanding of Nigerian tax and financial regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional certifications (ICAN ACCA) in progress or completed are an added advantage
