In this role youll:
Join one of Australias largest operational service delivery teams and receive support to advance your career within Sydney Trains. As a Customer Service Attendant youll gain hands-on experience and collaborate with a passionate group dedicated to delivering excellent customer service while prioritising safety. Our immediate vacancies will see you supporting various stations across the Gosford region.
You will be the go-to person for helping passengers who need a little extra help during their journey or simply a friendly smile to brighten their day!
You will gain some valuable experience through tasks such as flagging trains using high-tech mobile apps connecting with train crew and keeping the station in tip-top shape!

About you
- Your positive and reliable attitude formed across various customer-facing roles will see you excel as a Customer Service Attendant.
- You love working on the frontline interacting with customers and the community.
- Being part of a rostered shift environment and contributing to an organisation focused on positive changes in the community.
- Youre self-driven and can work autonomously with initiative which are key capabilities required for this position.
- Your strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional customer service will undoubtedly shine in this role.
- You must be available and willing to work rotating shifts including shift work late nights early mornings weekends and public holidays. Extended hours may be necessary at short notice.
- Own transport is beneficial as some shifts start out of train operating hours.

At Sydney Trains our rail services keep Sydney moving by putting our customers at the centre of everything we do. We work with our local communities to deliver safe timely and efficient rail services 24 hours a day seven days a week.

This is an in-person on-site role.
PermanentPart-Time positions will see you working a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
PermanentFull-Time positions will see you working 76 hours per fortnight.
The full time pay rate for this position is$1241.50 per week PRO RATA including the Industry Allowance. As a part time employee you will be paid on a pro-rata basis calculated on your agreed hours of addition you will also receive Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading benefits.

A Talent Pool will be created for current and future temporary and permanent full time and part-time positions for the next 18-month period. If you are deemed suitable at interview and a vacancy arises in your preferred location you may be contacted and asked to complete pre-employment checks.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake and complete training in person at Petersham.
For permanent positions in the NSW Public Sector you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. For most Temporary jobs you need a visa that gives you permission to work in Australia. To be considered for these roles you must be 18 years of age.
