*Must be able to train onsite in Baltimore MD for 1-2 weeks from 8am-5pm.*
As an MOA for Family and Internal Medicine youll:
- Provide excellent customer service to our patients in general surgery at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
- Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments process patient medication refills process referrals and take messages for the providers.
- Check patients in and out collect copays and respond to patient messages.
- Work in the EPIC queue and in-basket.
- Verify insurance and collect demographics.
What Youll Need to be Successful:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
- EPIC experience is very helpful!
- Ability tosuccessfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes but not limited to: Electronic medical record training Insurance training-foundations government and commercial.

Salary Range: Minimum17.11/hour - Maximum 28.26/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
