Specialist Business Planning Consumer Europe South

Location: Paris

Primary Purpose of the Position:

Lead short-midterm business planning process:

Drive a 50/50 balanced country demand forecast creation by providing fact-based sales assumptions and risks and opportunities whilst constructively challenging received market & channel inputs. As the local ABP (Annual Business Plan) Process owner provide the aggregated view of all moving elements and arguments for decision making at country and hub leadership level.

Drive plan sufficiency:

Providing pro-active guidance to country and hub leadership on accomplishment of short & midterm aligned business plans through Risks & Opportunities management (on aggregated and disaggregated level) and strategical/tactical analytics (industry/sales/shares triangulations) on all required levels of the aligned plan (channel brand season segment rim & new designs/white spot coverage). Lead the Customer Level Planning process ensuring that there is an aggregated view of the PBU MOR at Customer/Channel level supporting the ABP & AOP Processes.

Drive process and tools efficiency:

Using Continuous Improvement mindset challenge existing planning processes recommend leaner solutions improve and automate essential activities whilst remaining focused on cross-functional and process excellence.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Assumption Based Planning (ABP):

  • Coordinate challenge consolidate and communicate all relevant market-back data to relevant stakeholders. Track aggregate and communicate all the moving parts in the country FC for signoff in DSO/Sufficiency meetings both assumptions in the plan plus emerging risks & operations. Coordinate the disaggregation communication and implementation of aligned outcomes accurately into the Market Level FC before PBU MOR deadline.
  • Drive continuous improvement of our bottom-up planning process. Follow up on target achievement of assumptions.

Sales Plan Sufficiency:

  • Connect to other departments (e.g. if needed Demand Planning MRI Supply Planning Sales Finance Marketing Pricing Product Marketing) to optimize the local business plans processes & tools to drive sales plan sufficiency.
  • Install sufficiency operations and track sufficiency assumptions throughout the monthly planning cycles. Bring any Gap to Target to the attention of the relevant stakeholders and work cross-functionally on solutions.

Driving the country sales mix:

Together with Product and Trade Marketing drive the country mix (with dedicated focus on A-segment Goodyear 19 Light Truck) and work closely with Sales Management to execute that plan using available tools (like assortment recommendation tool) with active follow-up on progress tools usage and further opportunities.

To join our team you will need:

Education:

Bachelors degree in business- and/or economics-related sciences or comparable qualification.

Experience:

  • 5 years business experience.
  • Proven cross-functional experience with profound business experience in Sales Demand Planning Sales Operations Supply Chain and/or MRI.
  • Strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of the industry by market channels and segments.

Knowledge and Skills:

Technical

  • Excellent skills in MS Office (especially Excel / VBA).
  • Good skills in Data Warehouse Systems (EDW SAP) preferred.

Managerial

  • Leadership direct/indirect for interaction with cross-functional teams (local hub region).
  • High analytical competence and rational cross-functional thinking.
  • High self-organization and ability to cope with pressure.

Communication

  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
  • Ability to translate complex business data into key insights and actionable options.

Objectif principal du poste :

Diriger le processus de planification des activits court et moyen terme :

Favoriser la cration dune prvision quilibre 50/50 de la demande nationale en fournissant des hypothses de vente fondes sur des faits des risques et des opportunits tout en remettant en question de manire constructive les donnes reues du march et des canaux. En tant que responsable local du processus ABP (Annual Business Plan) fournissez une vue agrge de tous les lments mobiles et arguments pour la prise de dcision au niveau de la direction du pays et du hub.

Sobrit du plan de conduite :

Fournir des conseils proactifs la direction du pays et du ple sur la ralisation de plans daffaires aligns court et moyen terme grce la gestion des risques et des opportunits (au niveau agrg et dsagrg) et lanalyse stratgique/tactique (triangulations industrie/ventes/actions) tous les niveaux requis du plan align (canal marque saison segment jante et nouveaux designs/couverture des points blancs). Diriger le processus de planification au niveau du client en veillant ce quil existe une vue agrge du MOR PBU au niveau du client/du canal soutenant les processus ABP et AOP.

Amliorez lefficacit des processus et des outils :

En utilisant ltat desprit damlioration continue remettez en question les processus de planification existants recommandez des solutions allges amliorez et automatisez les activits essentielles tout en restant concentr sur lexcellence interfonctionnelle et lexcellence des processus.

Principaux devoirs et responsabilits :

Planification fonde sur des hypothses (ABP) :

  1. Coordonner remettre en question consolider et communiquer toutes les donnes pertinentes du march aux parties prenantes concernes. Suivre agrger et communiquer toutes les pices mobiles dans le FC du pays pour approbation lors des runions DSO/Sufficience les deux hypothses du plan ainsi que les risques mergents et les oprations. Coordonner la dsagrgation la communication et la mise en uvre des rsultats aligns avec prcision dans le FC au niveau du march avant la date limite du MOR du PBU.
  2. Favoriser lamlioration continue de notre processus de planification ascendante. Faire le suivi de la ralisation des hypothses.

Suffisance du plan de vente :

  1. Connectez-vous dautres dpartements (par exemple si ncessaire planification de la demande IRM planification de lapprovisionnement ventes finances marketing tarification marketing des produits) pour optimiser les plans daffaires locaux les processus et les outils afin de favoriser la suffisance du plan de vente.
  2. Installez des oprations de suffisance et suivez les hypothses de suffisance tout au long des cycles de planification mensuels. Portez tout cart cibler lattention des parties prenantes concernes et travaillez de manire transversale sur des solutions.

Stimuler le mix des ventes par pays :

En collaboration avec le marketing produit et commercial diriger le mix national (en mettant laccent sur le segment A Goodyear 19 camion lger) et travailler en troite collaboration avec la direction des ventes pour excuter ce plan laide des outils disponibles (comme loutil de recommandation dassortiment) avec un suivi actif des progrs de lutilisation des outils et dautres opportunits.

Pour rejoindre notre quipe vous aurez besoin de :

ducation:

Baccalaurat en sciences commerciales et/ou en sciences conomiques ou qualification quivalente.

Exprience:

  1. 5 ans dexprience en affaires.
  2. Exprience interfonctionnelle avre avec une exprience commerciale approfondie dans les ventes la planification de la demande les oprations de vente la chane dapprovisionnement et/ou lIRM.
  3. Un sens aigu des affaires et une comprhension approfondie de lindustrie par march canaux et segments.

Connaissances et comptences :

Technique

  1. Excellentes comptences en MS Office (en particulier Excel / VBA).
  2. Bonnes comptences en systmes dentrept de donnes (EDW SAP) de prfrence.

Directorial

  1. Leadership direct/indirect pour linteraction avec les quipes interfonctionnelles (locales hub rgions).
