The Opportunity : JAVA Developer
We are seeking a dedicated JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team across Belgium. This role requires a skilled technical professional with strong interpersonal skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Being part of a human-sized team
- Building and extending a modern financial platform and products built on top processing 4B per year
- Developing interfaces between web/application and APIs through various protocols
- Developing batch applications in JAVA
- Testing and automating processes
- Being member of a scrum team
- Working in DevOps mode with end-to-end responsibility on your code
- Guiding and helping fellow team members with your expertise
- Specifying engineering and improving code based on functional requirements and business requests
- Documenting implementing and maintaining such a system
Who Are We Looking For
You are an experienced JAVA Developer with extensive background in enterprise-level applications and a proven track record of technical contribution. You possess the following qualities and qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of Core Java (we are not using Spring Hibernate )
- Good knowledge of SQL query optimization (we use stored procedure on MariaDB)
- Good knowledge of web technologies like HTML CSS JavaScript TypeScript
- Proficient with Linux
- Good communication skills in English
- You are based in Belgium.
- You must have 5 years as JAVA developer.
Skills wed like
- Experience with micro-service architectures
- Experience with Docker ReactJS Cloud Solution (AWS)
- Knowledge of PHP we are moving away from it but there is still a bit of maintenance/migration to do
- Good knowledge in Dutch and/or French are a plus
