Bakers are responsible for arriving at the bakery at 4 AM to the prepare the baked products offered for sale at the cafe. The duties include filling and rolling pastries proofing croissants and baking the pastries and breads. Bakers must maintain quality standards of our baked good products. All baking techniques routines and recipes must be properly followed in order to make products that are consistent in flavor texture and size. Bakers will learn all our recipes and methods and should be able to maintain quality on their own. Attention to detail is a necessity for this job. Bakers must be able to do basic math follow detailed directions stand for long periods of time work at a fast pace lift 20 lbs and have a positive attitude.
