Junior Security Operations Analyst

The Junior Security Operations Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our systems and network this role youll monitor security alerts investigate incidents analyze vulnerabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts and potential incidents.
• Investigate security breaches and recommend remediation steps.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation progress.
• Support implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure security compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents investigations and security processes.
• Stay current on cybersecurity threats trends and best practices.

• 12 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles protocols and technologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as SIEM IDS/IPS firewalls and antivirus solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Security Network CISSP) are a plus.
• Some hands-on experience through coursework labs or platforms such as Security ISE2 Basic HackTheBox TryHackMe or other free learning tools is valued.
• Hybrid role: primarily remote but must be within 1 hour of Cleveland OH for on-site support during critical incidents.
• Must be willing to work shift rotations after onboarding (12-hour shifts including nights weekends and holidays).

*This role has weekly onsite requirements in Cleveland OH.
