Job Description
We are currently in search of a passionate Venue Host & Reservations to join our team at Compa Ristorante Canberra Centre. This role is Wednesday to Sunday.
About The Role
- Present a positive first impression of the restaurants friendliness presentation and service
- Greet all guests upon arrival
- Manage the bookings diary
- Seat guests and explain the menu and concept
- Perform quality checks during guests dining experience
- Farewell guests upon their departure
- Monitor the reservations system
- Take phone bookings and queries
- Provide quotes and organize details for group bookings
About You
- Ideally a minimum of 1 year experience in a Host with Restaurant or event bookings responsibility
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Passion for providing extraordinary service
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Embrace an upbeat outgoing and positive attitude
- Must be able to assist Guests and possess great Guest relations skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone and by email
- Must possess attention to detail
- Previous experience with Open Table and Square POS an advantage.
