The opportunity
Goodyear is currently looking for a Junior OE Construction Engineer in our Product Development Department in APAC. This role will report to the Technical Project Manager Strategic OE Projects. Your main responsibilities as Junior OE Construction Engineer will be:
- You need to assist engineers with technical issues and problem-solving.
- You are request to provide support for engineering tools software and equipment.
- You help in the development and testing of new products and technologies.
- You are responsible to maintain and update engineering documentation including technical manuals schematics and diagrams. Prepare reports presentations and technical documents as required. Ensure proper documentation of all engineering activities and processes.
To join our team you will need:
Education:
You must have successfully completed a bachelors or a masters degree in mechanical engineering physics or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- You are ideally in automotive industry will be considered as an asset.
- Your project management experience is a plus.
Languages:
- You can speak fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
- If you can fluency in other language(s) is an asset.
IT Soft Skills & others:
- You are able to work in cross functional and multi-cultural teams across the regions.
- You with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g. CAD CAM CATIA SOLIDWORKS).
- You with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- You can attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- You with experience with Finite Element Modeling is an asset.
- You are showing initiative - Being proactive
- You with curious and open minded
