Job Summary

As the Retail Area Manager for TCL home theater products youll support TCL retail teams as they advocate for the brands products in Best Buy locations. Youll be responsible for training developing coaching and supporting the sales team in your multi-state territory. As you gain experience in the role youll share best practices with direct reports peers and corporate leadership.

What youll do
  • Coach a team of up to 15 people across a multi-state territory
  • Meet key performance indicator goals for team
  • Maintain contact with all direct reports on a regular cadence both in-person and virtually
  • Become a Best Buy and TCL subject matter expert to support direct reports
Basic qualifications
  • One year of leadership experience
  • Prior experience in sales customer service or related fields
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel overnight up to once a week
  • Ability to attend off-site multi-day training twice a year
Preferred qualifications
  • One year of consumer electronics industry experience
  • Prior experience setting retail sales goals
  • Presentation skills and group training experience both in-person and virtually
  • Microsoft Office proficiency specifically PowerPoint Outlook and Excel
