Job Description

We are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer with experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or defense. The role focuses on validating complex electronic hardware against rigorous safety, reliability, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures for hardware systems.
  • Perform functional, performance, thermal, environmental, and reliability testing.
  • Set up and maintain test equipment and automated test setups.
  • Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and document results for regulatory compliance (e.g., DO-160, ISO 26262, IEC 60601, UL, MIL-STD).
  • Support certification and validation activities, providing clear documentation.
  • Contribute to test automation and process improvements.

Requirements
  • 2 years of hardware test experience in aerospace, medtech, automotive, or other regulated industries.
  • Hands-on experience with thermal, environmental, and reliability testing.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards (DO-254/DO-160, ISO 26262, IEC 60601, MIL-STD).
  • Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal chambers, etc..
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with EMC/EMI testing
  • Strong Python experience
  • Familiarity with FMEA and reliability analysis.
  • Exposure to regulatory audits or certifications.
