Job Description

Introduction

Our client is seeking a JSE Sponsor Associate for their firm in Johannesburg!

  • Degree in Investments Finance Business Science or any similar analytical degree
  • CA (SA)
  • SDP certificate
  • Familiarity with JSE listing rules and regulatory requirements is a must
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the JSE Listings Requirements and related regulation such as Companies Act and Takeover Regulation
  • Preference for candidates who have passed the SDP course and have approved executive status or will be able to achieve same in 6-12 months
  • Approved Executive (preferred) or eligible to be approved under JSE Listings Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience ideally within Debt Sponsor or JSE regulatory environments (equity sponsor corporate finance advisory or legal also considered)
  • Strong knowledge of JSE Listings Requirements and South African capital markets
  • Professional qualifications in law finance accounting or related disciplines advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
