Job Description
Mechanical Engineerneeded on-site in Kenosha WI to support high performance doors.
Essential Job Functions
- Manages projects changes development from start through completion
- Gathers and analyzes data and proposed product specifications and determines feasibility
- Conducts business case analysis and planning to commercialize new products
- Consults with suppliers in relation to parts or products to improve products or designs
- Looks for opportunities to reduce cost and improve overall quality and competitiveness
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-8 years engineering experience preferably in product design with a strong background in manufacturing
- Advanced knowledge/experience with industry drafting and CAD standards
- Experience in product design GD&T using CATIA CAD tools and DFMEA
- Significant hands on the product experience with ability to recognize problems predict potential outcomes and implement countermeasures quickly to avoid problems.
