What youll do: Summary:The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing a wide range of routine and complex maintenance repair and facility upkeep tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment. Under general supervision this role executes work based on established priorities procedures and both verbal and written instructions. Key Responsibilities: - Performs minor and/or moderate repairs and general maintenance of facilities buildings grounds and equipment including electrical carpentry plumbing masonry and painting tasks while identifying projects requiring skilled trades support.
- Ensure facilities and grounds meet AIB food safety certification standards including MSDS inventory management brittle glass assessments and pest control measures.
- Service warehouse equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Monitor and service emergency equipment kitchen appliances and facility systems escalating issues as necessary.
- Participate in the Safety Committee to enhance workplace safety initiatives.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager and staff to ensure material handling equipment (MHE) and rolling stock remain in safe working condition.
- Assist with moving furniture equipment and setting up/breaking down office cubicles and partitions.
- Order and manage repair parts supplies and external services within approved budget guidelines.
- Assist the Facility Maintenance Manager in overseeing fire protection systems and coordinate with vendors as needed to ensure compliance and functionality.

- Monday Friday Hours vary based on organizational needs including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Travel:
- Up to 25% travel required for site inspections team support and vendor management. Routine local travel; occasional overnight travel for training may be required.
- Must possess a valid drivers license maintain a clean MVR and provide proof of auto insurance.
