Job Description
JOB TITLE: New Patient Coordinator
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Our Patient Servece Representatives are integral in the smooth operation of the practice and will:
- Greet patients and provide superior patient relations
- Receive referrals from physicians and facilities
- Answer incoming calls (heavy call volume) verify patient insurance benefits and administer patient registration
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments within EMR
- Communicate with referring offices regarding patient appointment statuses
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Computer literate
- Ability to multitask
- Previous Patient Coordinator experience preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of general medical terminology preferred
