Location: Syracuse NY
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $35 $40/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Includes holidays and one weekend every other month

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient clinical team in Syracuse NY. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating diagnosing and treating individuals with speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders. This position requires strong clinical expertise a collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive evaluations for speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals.
Provide evidence-based therapy for a wide range of speech-language and swallowing conditions.
Educate patients caregivers and interdisciplinary staff on diagnoses treatment strategies and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues in Speech Therapy PM&R and other service lines to support program development.
Maintain accurate timely documentation and communicate effectively with referral sources and care teams.
Participate in community outreach education and patient support initiatives.
Efficiently manage therapy schedules and patient caseloads.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Active New York State licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or equivalent.
Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Prior outpatient clinical experience required.
