Situated on Slh Tm:xw the traditional territory of the St:l people and Squiala First Nation it is the goal of our schools to instill confidence and independence in our students by empowering physical social spiritual and mental growth in a culturally responsive and rich environment.
Squiala Elementary School
Squiala Elementary School is a First Nation band school where we hold our traditional culture and language close to our hearts. It is our strong belief that our children deserve the right to learn and practice St:l cultural ways of life. Squiala Elementary School provides a holistic learning environment for students from preschool through gr 6 that accepts and appreciates the uniqueness of each child. With a culturally informed curriculum in conjunction with the community we encourage students to develop good citizenship practices as well as high moral and educational standards.

You are a passionate excited team member who has the energy to keep up with our students
You have a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university and hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate
