Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team providing patient-centered care in a combined Family Practice and Urgent Care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages as well as acute care for urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions.
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team providing patient-centered care in a combined Family Practice and Urgent Care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages as well as acute care for urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments diagnoses and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespan
- Provide urgent care services including minor procedures suturing splinting and wound care
- Perform physical exams order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications
- Develop implement and monitor individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance disease prevention and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications:
- Current Physician Assistant license and certification
- Valid state RN and APRN licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in family practice and/or urgent care preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Rotating shifts between family practice and urgent care
