Job Description

Excellent opportunity for a LICENCED RN to manage health care services of students with multiple primary responsibility of the School Nurse is to manage school health care services as outlined by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Provide nursing services to students at the LPVEC Special Education Students in our Ludlow CampusESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Other duties may be assigned)Provide and supervise medically prescribed interventions including medication First Aid CPR and triage in accordance with IHCPs prescriptions standard nursing practice state and federal laws and regulationTo distribute collect and submit all required paperwork for students and teachers in a timely mannerTo serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitude appropriate attire and grooming and an effective work ethicTo participate in staff meetings and professional development activities and to be responsible for attending other meetings which might be called after school hoursDemonstrated ability to professionally interact with students parents teachers and school administrators and staffDemonstrated ability to professionally interact with related business industry and public agency personnelAccompany students on buses during field trips and administer necessary medications and First Aid as needed
