This key position plays an important role in shaping and supporting the departments administrative operations ensuring alignment with department goals and community needs.
The Department
The Juvenile Services Department is responsible for the supervision of high-risk youth in the community including youth on probation and being diverted from the court system. Staff are responsible for maintaining court ordered conditions to protect public safety and work to restore victims. To learn more about usclick here.
The Position
As the Administrative Manager you will provide guidance across a wide range of operational functions. You will lead a team of administrative professionals while advising the executive team on financial planning budgeting and funding strategies. This position also oversees critical support areas including contracting purchasing facilities entry of case specific information expunction community outreach and employee relations.
The ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is a proactive and solutions-oriented individual with a strong background in managing complex operations and supporting executive leadership. They will have a foundation in budget development and management and will have advanced technical skills in Excel data analysis graphic reporting contract development and accounting along with an understanding of how to support and collaborate with executive leadership. A successful candidate will have excellent financial and budgeting skills be adept at streamlining processes and improving workflows and can navigate cross-departmental collaboration. They are motivated to network proactive in identifying trends at both the local and state level and skilled in forecasting and pursuing strategic funding opportunities including grants. Strong communication collaborative leadership and relationship-building skills are essential. Most importantly this candidate brings a genuine interest in public service and a commitment to supporting the mission of the Juvenile Services Department and public safety all while embracing our values of integrity excellence and teamwork.
