About Team:
Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure & platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms enterprise architecture DevOps cloud computing and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores digital channels and distribution centers.
What youll do:
- Designand developcomplex scalable and reliable software systems.
- Leadtechnical decisions including architecture design patterns and best practices.
- Writeclean efficient and maintainable code ensuring quality through testing and reviews.
- Collaboratewith product managers designers and other engineersto deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Identifyand resolveperformance security and scalability challenges.
What youll bring:
- Strong skillsin problem solving distributed programming micro-services architecture Java Spring GoLang.
- Working knowledge of kubernetes MemcacheD Kafka Cloud DB technologies.
- Operation experience in monitoring and triaging distributed applications at scale.
- Experience in building highly available distributed scalable robust cloud native applications.
- Domain knowledge of configuration management systems feature flagging experimentation is a plus.
