Filolis Hiring an Assistant Guest Experience Manager!
Do you have a passion for providing incredible customer service Do you love leading a team and making a real impact Filoli a beautiful historic house and garden is looking for a dynamic and engaging Assistant Guest Experience Manager to join our team.
What Youll Do
As our Assistant Guest Experience Manager youll be a key part of our leadership team working closely with the Guest Experience Manager to ensure every visitor has an unforgettable experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Leading a Great Team: Youll help train schedule and supervise our Guest Experience team fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Youll also provide daily guidance and support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Creating Memorable Moments: Youll be on the front lines greeting visitors answering questions and sharing the unique story of Filoli. Your energy and passion will help visitors of all ages feel welcome and engaged.
Overseeing Daily Operations: Youll make sure our Check-In kiosks and other guest areas are well-stocked and running efficiently. Youll also help with administrative tasks and data tracking to support the team.
Interpreting Our History: Youll have the opportunity to deliver talks and tours sharing your knowledge of Filolis house and gardens in a fun and engaging way.
What Were Looking For
We need someone with a knack for leadership and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing role preferably in a cultural institution museum or historic site.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing a team and fostering a supportive inclusive and welcoming team dynamic. You should be a great listener and a proactive problem-solver.
Passion for People: A strong focus on providing outstanding customer service and the ability to work with a diverse group of employees and visitors.
Flexibility: This is a fast-paced environment and your schedule will include evenings and weekends so flexibility is a must.
The Details
Job Type: Full-time non-exempt position.
Pay Rate: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour depending on experience.
Benefits: This position is eligible for our full benefits package including medical dental vision life and 401(k).
Location: Filoli is located in Woodside CA. A valid drivers license is required.
