About Us:
The Division of Legislative Services (DLS) is a legislative branch agency created by the General Assembly to provide nonpartisan legal general research and support services to members of the General Assembly the standing committees of the House of Delegates and Senate of Virginia and certain legislative commissions.
Position Overview:
As a proofreader you will be responsible for identifying grammatical typographical and compositional errors in legislative drafts. You will correct grammar punctuation spelling and content errors quickly and accurately while maintaining consistency with the Code of Virginias style and established guidelines. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

This is a contract remote position with a defined start and end date and does not include health or retirement benefits.
