Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Urologist in Loveland CO
Join our esteemed medical community at a leading hospital facility in Loveland Colorado where we are seeking a skilled Urologist to fulfill an essential role. This practice is hospital-based and covers several hospitals within the Northern Colorado Region including Medical Center of the Rockies Poudre Valley Hospital and Greeley Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide care exclusively within the hospital setting with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital-based urology services and respond to call requirements.
- Manage an average of 4-12 patients per day across multiple hospital sites.
- Perform an average of 3-6 surgeries per day focused on inpatient adult urology.
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques including general urology and advanced endoscopy.
- Coordinate with a team of 10 urologists and 5 mid-level providers for efficient patient care.
- Operate using EPIC documentation systems and leverage hospital resources including C-arms lasers and robotic systems.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Urology - REQUIRED
- Active Colorado medical license or Active IMLC LOQ - REQUIRED
- BLS and ACLS certifications - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must possess a valid active Colorado medical license or equivalent licensure.
- Current board certification in Urology is mandatory.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be up to date.
