We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer II to spearhead our automated testing efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing automated testing frameworks using Python. This role requires a strong understanding of testing best practices and the ability to lead a team of testers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Implement testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Analyze test results identify trends and report findings to development teams.
• Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.
• Ensure robust test coverage across all application components.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in test automation using Python.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium PyTest etc.).
• Experience with requirements verification.
• Experience using Docker or containerized environments.
• Experience with MATLAB LabVIEW C.
• Hands-on experience conducting tests in a lab setting.
• Experience in a lead role or managing a test team.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
• Experience in agile development environments.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance if requested.

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
