Intern Construction Management- GBA Builders
GBA Companies is hiring Construction Management Interns (Lenexa KS) for GBA Builders
- GBA Builders provides pre-construction consulting general contracting design-build and construction management at risk services.
As an intern you may gain hands-on experience with estimating preconstruction design management project management scheduling quality control reviews site visits and much more.

Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with day-to-day activities such as drawing coordination safety reports daily logs and reports progress photos quality assurance and site communication and coordination.
- Assist with estimating by contacting subcontractors and completing quantity take-off
- Quality control assistance
- Assist with schedule evaluations and updates
- Assist project buyout and preconstruction
- Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the work
- Attend site visits for new projects
- Assist with project budget management
- Provide Safety assistance while on job sites
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering OR other related engineering or business discipline with interest in construction
- Must have completed at least 2 years of their education
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to work in fast pace situations while maintaining focus
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
- Previous internships are a definite plus but not required
