Were looking for brilliant Quality Engineering interns who are passionate about solving some of the most difficult technical challenges the industry faces today. Were looking for interns who are not only adept at abstract problem solving and who want to get in the trenches with fellow developer interns in one of the most fun all-in high-velocity environments youll ever experience.
This internship is based at our headquarters in McLean Virginia. Appian was built on a culture of in-person collaboration which we believe is a key driver of our mission to be the best. Interns in this program are expected to be in the office 5 days a week to fully experience our culture learn directly from peers and mentors and contribute to projects in a collaborative environment. Being in the office provides more opportunities to connect learn and celebrate with the exceptional people across Appian.

To be successful in this role you need:
Tech-savviness and desire to harness the power of technology
Strong analytical communication and abstract problem solving skills
Ability to take a step back and see the bigger picture and unwavering commitment to robust solutions
Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach to delivering solutions
Motivation to learn software development lifecycle from planning and specification to testing and shipping the final pieces ensuring Appians high standards for quality are met throughout the process
Basic qualifications:
Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelors degree with a STEM major
Interest in working in a software environment
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
