Job Description

Within this role the duties and responsibilities will be broad and diverse with your key responsibilities outlined below:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies manage roadmaps and ensure alignment with overall business goals between regions and central (UK) teams
  • Lead on volume planning and incentives programmes in collaboration with regional and central teams

Sales Forecasting:

  • Develop sales forecasts based on market research and historical data whilst balancing opportunities and challenges between markets
  • Lead target setting methodology and definition ensuring targets are accurate and distributed to annual timing plan
  • Manage internal fleet programme from registration to de-fleet maintaining volume and profit targets

Performance Management:

  • Improve sales performance management by monitoring individual regions and team performance
  • Manage own area of Dealer Operating Standards in definition measurement and evolution of the programme

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyse sales data create reports and dashboards and provide insights to sales leadership

Process Improvement:

  • Identify gaps in sales processes implement changes and monitor their impact to drive efficiency and productivity

Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance mentorship and leadership to sales operations teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing finance and other departments to optimize processes and achieve collective goals.

Special Projects:

  • Support ad hoc special projects as needed

Within this role the duties and responsibilities will be broad and diverse with key requirements outlined below:-

  • 5-7 years of experience in automotive sales management with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team provide guidance and mentorship and foster a positive work environment
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills are essential for interacting with clients team members and senior management
  • Experienced in navigating the key issues affecting the automotive sector across the retail operations
  • A strong record of building productive partnerships across organizations and networks
