Job Description

Our client a prestigious Am Law 200 firm is seeking an Associate to join its Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights Practice Group in the Tampa office.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years (2022 TO 2024 LAW SCHOOL GRAD ONLY) of bankruptcy experience or completion of a bankruptcy judicial clerkship.
  • Admission (or pending admission) to the Florida Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated legal writing ability.
  • Commercial litigation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

The Role:
This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated bankruptcy and creditors rights matters while also gaining valuable exposure to commercial litigation. The successful candidate will demonstrate grit drive and a strong commitment to client service in a fast-paced environment.

Strong academic credentials required


hybrid - prefer onsite but some flex to 3 days

Billable - 1950 (50 pro bono credit) 200 productive hours in addition

bonus% 2150 - 10% of base

Interview - practice leader 2nd round in person (1 1/2 to 2 hours)

Fee - 25% Guarantee - 12 months pro-rated
