- Job Details:
- As a Senior Netezza Engineer you will contribute to the design development and maintenance of enterprise data warehouse solutions. You will ensure high performance data integrity and availability of mission-critical systems that support business operations across the bank.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Netezza-based data warehouse objects (tables views stored procedures scripts).
- Design build and optimize DataStage ETL jobs and DB2 SQL queries for complex data transformations.
- Perform database administration tasks including schema design access control and system monitoring.
- Support database backup recovery and migration activities.
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance guidelines for sensitive information.
- Partner with IT and business teams to deliver accurate and timely data solutions.
- Analyze logs troubleshoot performance issues and recommend enhancements.
- Document processes workflows and technical solutions.
- Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
- 58 years of strong experience in Netezza DataStage DB2 and SQL.
- Proficient in database performance monitoring and optimization.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Solid problem-solving debugging and collaboration skills.
- Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure AWS Snowflake).
- Experience with Agile project delivery.
