Job Description

Therapist Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Location: Peoria AZ / Deer Valley AZ

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Therapist to provide outpatient therapy services for individuals in recovery. This role focuses on supporting members with substance use PTSD post-incarceration syndrome and co-occurring behavioral health needs. You will provide individual and group therapy develop treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy and facilitate IOP group sessions (23 hours daily 5 days/week)

  • Develop implement and update treatment plans

  • Support members in setting recovery goals and building life skills for successful re-entry

  • Use evidence-based practices such as CBT REBT and motivational interviewing

  • Collaborate with peers re-entry specialists and family supports

  • Maintain safety and confidentiality while documenting all services within required timelines

  • Participate in supervision team meetings and program development

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in behavioral health field required

  • Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience

  • Associate licensure (LAC LMSW LAAC) required or ability to obtain within 6 months

  • CPR/First Aid and Crisis De-escalation certification required

  • Strong communication problem-solving and documentation skills

  • Proficiency with EHR systems and MS Office

  • Must be 21 and able to pass background check drug/alcohol screen TB test and MVR (if applicable)

Work Environment

  • Outpatient clinical setting with individual and group facilitation

  • Occasional offsite training or community activities

  • Requires extended speaking active engagement and light lifting (up to 30 lbs)
