Job Description
Client: Banking
Location: Remote (EU citizenship or valid work permit required)
Language: Fluent English
Start date: ASAP
End date:
Role Overview:
Join a banking project as a Data Engineerdesigning building and optimizing streaming data pipelines and supporting data-driven decision-making in a regulated environment.
Key Requirements:
- Hands-on software development experience (Java Python as an advantage)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes Docker)
- Proven skills in designing and developing streaming data pipelines; deep knowledge of platforms like Kafka Spark Flink and related architecture
- Experience working with solution integrations (real-time message-based event-driven)
- Strong experience with SQL database technologies; NoSQL database experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with test automation
- Knowledge of DevOps processes/tools infrastructure as code and security best practices
- Fluent English (required); EU citizenship or valid work permit
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the banking/customer business domain
- NoSQL and large-scale data environments
