Job Title: Maintenance Associate
Location: Newark OH
Reports To: General Manager

Your Superpowers Will Include:

  • Handling guestroom and public space repairs
  • Helping with renovation projects electrical plumbing HVAC fixes
  • Pool and spa maintenance (because we all love a good swim right)
  • Keeping the exterior in top shape think landscaping painting and yes snow shoveling in winter!
  • Quarterly mattress flips and maintaining company vans (if applicable)

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in electrical plumbing or HVAC work
  • Hospitality experience (we love a team player whos worked in hotels before!)

  • Safety - The employee is safety-conscious about the work environment and equipment. The work area is free of debris to prevent trip and slip hazards. All products and equipment are stored in their proper location. All safety guards and other safety devices are in their proper location are functional and utilized effectively on a consistent basis. Standard operating procedures safety work rules and good general manufacturing practices are followed on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance trades including electrical plumbing mechanical and carpentry is preferred. Hospitality experience is a plus. Certifications in plumbing electrical and pool maintenance are a plus.

Language Skills: Ability to read analyze and interpret documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to interact clearly and effectively in both written and oral communication with supervisor clients staff vendors etc.
