Crown Court Litigator & Police Station Accredited (London Region)
About the Opportunity Join a leading specialist criminal defence firm in London renowned for handling serious and complex criminal matters. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Crown Court Litigator with police station accreditation to work on high-profile cases whilst developing their career in a supportive expert environment.
The Role Conduct advocacy in Crown Court proceedings for serious criminal offences including fraud violence and regulatory matters Represent clients at police stations under the duty solicitor scheme and private instructions Manage complex criminal caseloads from initial arrest through to trial and appeal Provide expert legal advice to clients facing serious criminal charges Prepare comprehensive case strategies and coordinate with barristers where appropriate Handle terrorism-related matters and serious organised crime cases Conduct client conferences and maintain strong client relationships Ensure compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements and case management protocols Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development activities Work collaboratively with the wider criminal defence team
What Were Looking For
Qualified solicitor with Higher Rights of Audience (Criminal) or working towards qualification Police Station Accreditation essential Minimum 3 years experience in serious criminal defence work Proven Crown Court advocacy experience across a range of serious offences Strong knowledge of criminal law procedure and evidence Experience with Legal Aid and private criminal work Excellent communication and client care skills Ability to work under pressure and manage demanding caseloads
