Job Description
River Oaks Columbia Heights in Columbia Heights MN is seeking to hire a Part Time Dietary Aide. This position ensures the ongoing quality care of our residents who have mental health challenges by providing a variety of food preparation and dietary services. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY AIDE
As a Dietary Aide you arrive each day ready to assist in providing quality meal services to our hungry residents. Youll work primarily in our spacious commercial kitchen and dining room preparing and presenting daily menu items to our residents. As a Dietary Aide youll help the entire organizations goal of meeting the mental health and physical needs of our residents and helping them live their best each day.
Thanks to your effective planning your daily quality assurance measures and the excellent communication youll have with the rest of our departments your work as a Dietary Aide will help achieve exceptional resident experiences with every meal and snack. As a Dietary Aide you feel great about the impact you are making in the lives of our residents!
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience is preferred but not required. Previous mental health experience is preferred but not required. Ability to perform basic math equations. Ability to discern the difference in size and purpose of portion control. Ability to utilize and follow a menu. Ability to build rapport with residents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
