What Youll Do
As the Pharmacy Director at Grand River Health youll lead a collaborative pharmacy team dedicated to safe effective and compassionate patient care across all our service lines. Youll shape the vision for pharmacy servicessetting policies ensuring compliance with USP 797 & 800 and partnering closely with physicians nurses and department leaders to improve processes and promote effective drug therapy. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly influence patient outcomes staff development and the overall success of our hospital.
- Direct establish and plan overall policies and goals for the hospitals pharmacy services
- Maintain regular contact with medical staff nursing staff and department heads to identify needs resolve issues and strengthen collaboration
- Oversee regulatory compliance including serving as coordinator of USP 797 & 800 guidelines (unless otherwise delegated per policy)
- Rely on extensive experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish departmental goals
- Lead mentor and develop pharmacy staff providing guidance with creativity and latitude
- Ensure safe effective and efficient use of medications in the institutional setting
Who Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or preferred.
- Must be licensed by the State of Colorado Board of Pharmacy to practice pharmacy.
- Must meet State of Colorado requirements for Pharmacists.
- Requires minimum of three years of experience in Hospital or Institutional Pharmacy.

- Pay Range: $195000 - $210700 annually (based on experience)

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
