None/Not RequiredWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Repair Technician responsible for performing complex overhauls rework and repairs on a wide range of aircraft equipment and components. This role ensures the continuous flow of operations by executing precision maintenance tasks in both standard and non-standard environments. Utilizes technical expertise to diagnose issues restore functionality and maintain the highest standards of safety performance and regulatory compliance. Ideal for a technician who thrives in dynamic conditions and takes pride in supporting mission-critical aerospace operations.
What you will do:
Assembles fabricated parts components or units at floor stations.
Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels repairs as necessary.
Conducts inspection of incoming assemblies/components in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
Responsible for performing complete operation checkouts modifications disassembly repairs reassembly test calibrations diagnoses and correction of problems.
Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
Sets up necessary repair and test facilities.
Qualifications you must have:
HS diploma with a minimum of 1 years of relevant the absence of a HS diploma or GED 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
Comfortable standing for large portions of the day.
Basic computer skills & knowledge of computer programs (Word Excel Windows etc.)
Qualifications we prefer:
Repair experience.
