Job Description

Our client in Blackheath Western Cape is seeking an experienced professional with 5 to 10 years in sales and managerial roles. To qualify you should hold a National Diploma in Marketing Business Management or an equivalent qualification possess a valid drivers license and have advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel. REQUIREMENTS:
  • National Diploma in Marketing Business Management or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Sales and Managerial positions
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

DUTIES:
  • Manage a sales team of approximately 20 people.
  • Achieve profitable results through the sales team by motivating counseling developing skills and enhancing product knowledge.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan covering sales targets competitive activity promotional strategies and sales efforts.
  • Meet agreed-upon targets sales promotion programs and plans.
  • Promote the companys presence throughout the market.
  • Oversee the sales administration function including operational performance reporting and streamlining processes and systems wherever possible.
  • Ensure all sales representatives activities comply with the companys standards and guidelines.
  • Plan direct organize and control the sales representative and tele sales teams to accomplish specific objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of the sales team by establishing reporting and communication systems including sales reports and monthly sales meetings.
  • Design and implement a performance appraisal system that clearly defines responsibilities and standards for each sales team member.
  • Regularly observe the performance of sales representatives in the field.
  • Provide ongoing high-quality training to sales representatives to ensure they have sufficient knowledge to present the companys products accurately and effectively.
