Job Description
About the Position
The City of Saint Paul Regional Water Services is hiring an individual to perform electrical work involving the construction installation alteration maintenance and repair of electrical electronic and communications systems.
Heres what you can expect to do:- Maintain repair and install instruments apparatus and equipment including high- and low-voltage and fiber optic systems.
- Install inspect maintain and test electrical equipment used in operating a variety of equipment such as pumps control panels transformers onsite and portable generators automatic power transfer switches communication switches motors flow/level/pressure transmitters PLCs valve actuators quicklime slaker online water quality analyzers and air compressor systems.
- Apply electrical expertise in facility construction maintenance and repair.
- Verify and calibrate level flow pressure and temperatures transmitters.
- Utilize aerial personal lifts ladders fiberoptic splicing tool thermal imaging gun multimeter and manual tools.
- Perform routine transformers oil sampling.
- Adhere to OSHA requirements and established safety policies and practices.

Position Requirements
Must possess a Class A journey-level electricians license issued by the State of Minnesota.
Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D Drivers License or equivalent out-of-state drivers license.How to Apply
