Job Description

NOVOs wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless single source distribution system. NOVOs regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.

The Offsite Linen Room Distribution Manager oversees the daily operations of off-site linen distribution including production flow cost management staffing and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role also involves training motivating and managing the distribution team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of linen products. Managers must also demonstrate flexibility and be prepared to cover shifts when necessary to maintain seamless operations and meet service demands

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee linen distribution operations ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage production schedules ensuring efficiency performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and adjust workflow and schedules as needed to meet production goals.
  • Implement and maintain safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Maintain quality control by monitoring linen standards and addressing any issues.
  • Foster a clean safe and organized linen distribution area.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient purchasing production and delivery processes.
  • Set and manage staffing schedules to meet operational demands.
  • Hire train and supervise linen distribution staff ensuring a motivated and well-trained team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and lead team meetings to ensure communication and alignment of goals.
  • Ensure linen quality standards are met and address any deviations.
  • Attend corporate training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and best practices.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the community and clients delivering excellent customer service.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferably in distribution or manufacturing.
  • Ability to recognize and adhere to safety practices and handle occupational hazards.
  • Physical ability to push/pull carts weighing 200-400 pounds and lift objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Strong leadership customer service and organizational skills with proven success in achieving business results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis reporting and creating tools that support operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Skilled in collaborating effectively with a diverse range of hospital personnel from frontline linen room staff to executive leadership to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Assist and perform other duties as assigned or needed pertaining to the job
