Job Title: Veterinary Doctor Cow Rescue & Animal Welfare
Location: Gokuldham Mahatirth Jhajjar (Animal Hospital & Gaushala)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Doctor to provide healthcare treatment and preventive medical support for cows and other livestock at Gokuldham Mahatirth. The role involves diagnosing illnesses performing treatments overseeing rescue cases guiding the animal care team and ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare in alignment with our mission of Gau Seva.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Diagnose and treat illnesses injuries and diseases in cows and livestock.
- Provide first aid vaccinations and preventive healthcare.
- Attend to emergency and rescue cases ensuring timely treatment.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in advanced treatments.
- Maintain detailed medical records vaccination schedules and treatment history.
- Guide and train livestock assistants staff and volunteers in animal care practices.
- Monitor nutrition hygiene and shelter standards for livestock.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary protocols and animal welfare guidelines.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science (. & A.H.) or equivalent qualification.
- Valid registration/license with Veterinary Council.
- Prior experience in livestock/large animal veterinary care preferred (freshers may also apply).
- Strong knowledge of animal healthcare disease management and nutrition.
- Empathy patience and a strong commitment to animal welfare and Gau Seva.
- Ability to work in field conditions and respond to emergencies.
