Applied Materials VSE Business Unit is searching for an intern to join our team for the Spring 2026! The position will entail the following:
- Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression
- Typically hasknowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts of Mechanical Engineering
- Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
- Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
- Receives instruction guidance and direction from others
- Self-driven and hands on
- Start date: January 12 2025;
- Onsite Gloucester MA location
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelors degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred
- Quick learner

$28 - $32 per hour

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
