RaytheonsSoftware Configuration Management (SWCM)department establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle. SWCM department provides innovative solutions through automation continuous improvement and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products: embedded software firmware/configurable logic test equipment simulation Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and tools.

SWCM department is hiring a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer to work as a Software Transfer Agent onsite in Colorado Springs CO.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams
• Automate and streamline transfer procedures and processes
• Create customized / tailored configurations workflows automations reports and integrations that meet specific program customer and/or site requirements
• Trouble-shoot / repair issues escalations and action items
• Maintain familiarity with program schedule identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
• Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycle
• Ensure site baseline and post deploy verifications
• Perform and lead coordination of data transfers courier support among various environments
• Work onsite at Schriever SFB site

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systems
• Automation experience shell scripting in Linux Unix and Windows
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment
• Strong background in task automation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e. Perl shell PHP C# batch Python Ruby or YAML)
• Work effectively with individuals from diverse communities/cultures and cross discipline organizations
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite CloudBees Jenkins JFrog Artifactory Chef Rundeck

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

• Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
